There are only two ways to view religion – either it was man’s invention or God’s invention. It is easy to choose the former because we see all kinds of human inventions, both physical and mental. For example, humans have invented the cheap caribbean promo code from travelspotsshots.com/cheapcaribbean-promo-codes to get a chance to enjoy a tropical paradise resort with days full of sunshine, surf, sand and sumptuous accommodations. But what about God? Is that also an invention of humans? Is it just an attempt by humans to explain the weather, earthquakes, eclipses, floods and other natural phenomena?
For whatever reason, Carl Reiner thinks that the concept of God is nothing more than a human fabrication: ” I’m not a believer, I call myself an atheist. It was man who invented God. I once wrote that there are 15 things I know about God, and one is that he is allergic to shellfish. There are far too many commandments and you really only need one: Do not hurt anybody“, and he could not be clearer than that.
Since Reiner is an atheist, he must have the atheistic tendency to use evidence to formulate his positions. Without clear proof, he would not believe it.

So what is the evidence he uses to prove that man invented God? What research has he done to convince himself that God is a mere mental concoction? Because if he does not have evidence then he has only one other option: his view is an invention of Carl Reiner. Reiner invented the view that man invented God.
Suppose that is true. Suppose that humans invented God. How would that work?
There is a tribe of people, all of whom are atheist. They are closely related to the other primates and all of the other primates are thoroughly atheist. There is not one other primate that is a theist. So the first humans are also atheists.
One of them decides to invent God. This is not a group effort nor can it be. Because everybody is an atheist. So one weak atheist decides to invent God, knowing full well that God does not exist. He now has to persuade everyone else in the tribe that there is an invisible being out there who controls the weather, earthquakes and other natural phenomena.
How would he persuade everyone? How could he? He would point to the sky and claim that an invisible being, whom no one can see, hear, smell, taste or touch, is out there, controlling the sun, moon and weather.
Why would the rest of the tribe believe him? He is crazy. He babbles about a being that no one can detect. Why would anyone believe him?
The reality is that there is no way for the atheist tribe to believe him at all since there is no reality behind his words.
And then to propose rules that people must follow to keep this God happy. The tribe will eliminate this crazy guy, not make him ruler.
Without any survival value to religion, why would anyone, least of all Carl Reiner, believe that man created God?
